Breast Revision Surgery in Bergen County, NJ
At Northern Center for Plastic Surgery (NCPS), we take a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to breast revision surgery. By listening closely, evaluating what's happening, and creating a plan that prioritizes safety, comfort, and natural-looking results.
Breast revision surgery is a highly customized procedure designed to improve the look, feel, or comfort of previous breast augmentation or breast surgery results. Whether you want to address implant concerns, restore a more natural shape, correct asymmetry, or simply update your results after life changes, our team at Northern Center for Plastic Surgery (NCPS) creates a plan that fits your body and your goals.
At NCPS, breast revision is approached with the same priorities we bring to every procedure: meticulous technique, honest guidance, and high-touch care before and after surgery.
What Breast Revision Can Address
Breast revision can help patients who are experiencing:
A change in breast shape or position over time (including sagging)
Implant-related concerns (size, feel, rippling, visibility)
Capsular contracture (tight, firm, or painful scar tissue around an implant)
Asymmetry or an off look in clothing or without a bra
Implant malposition (implant sitting too high, too low, too far to the side, etc.)
Desire to change implant size or type
Concerns after prior breast lift or reconstruction
If you're not sure what's causing your current result, that's okay your consultation is where we evaluate what's happening and map out the best path forward.
Your Options: Common Breast Revision Approaches
Every revision plan is different. Depending on your anatomy, existing implants, and goals, breast revision may include one or more of the following:
Implant exchange (changing implant size, profile, or material)
Implant removal (with or without replacement)
Capsulectomy or capsulotomy (treating scar tissue around the implant)
Pocket revision (adjusting the implant position)
Breast lift (mastopexy) to restore shape and correct sagging
Fat grafting for added softness, contour, or upper-pole blending
We'll explain what we recommend, why we recommend it, and what results are realistic for your body.
