Even if you have health insurance, you may not be covered if an unforseen complication develops following your cosmetic surgery.  The majority of insurance polisicies don't cover complications connected with elective surgery.  CosmetAssure is an extended insurance plan that is available only through participating surgeons.  In the event that complications should occur, CosmetAssure will cover expenses such as hospitalization, ambulance services and follow-up medical appointments.  

Cosmetassure insurance is the only cosmetic insurance that protects you during cosmetic surgery.  This insurance is offered only to board certified plastic surgeons.  The Northern Center for Plastic Surgery requires that all of our cosmetic patients enroll in this insurance.  Complications are rare but for a nomial fee, the insurance lightens the emotional stress and additional financial burden to the patient.
