What is the down time for the lip lift procedure?

The average downtime is roughly 3 -5 days, the first two days consist of swelling and discomfort the following day or two it is usual to have trouble eating and residual swelling, bruising is likely to appear at this stage as your swelling starts to subside.  Swelling gcan last upwards of two weeks, gradually reducing daily, bruising can last up to several weeks depending upon the indiviudal. 

How do I decide if I should have a lip lift done?

Deciding to have any surgical procedure done is an individualized decision that should be made between you and Dr. Capuano.  Feel free to call our office and schedule a consultation with Dr. Capuano, he will evaluate your concern and let you know if you are a candidate for the lip lift procedure.  You will next meet with our patient care coordinator who will hold your hand through the rest of the process.
