Controlled Depth Peel (ZO Skin Health®)

The Controlled Depth Peel is a deep peel that utilizes 30% trichloracedic acid (TCA), which is designed to medically treat acne scarring, wrinkles, fine lines, skin pigmentation disorders, and sun damage.  TCA is a non-toxic chemical that is used to cause the surface cells of your skin to dehydrate and then peel off to expose a new layer of undamaged skin with a smoother texture and more even skin tone.   The Controlled Depth Peel causes a superficial injury which causes dermal contraction and skin tightening during the natural healing process.

The system includes a colored base solution that is mixed with the TCA to give Dr. Capuano visual cues on the surface of your skin during your peel.  These clues allow him to perform the peel to the exact depth needed to treat your specific issue.  This system includes potent antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents to minimize redness and replenish skin barrier function following the peel.  The system also contains a gentle cleanser to remove the remaining color and dead surface cells from you skin.
