Vaginal Rejuvenation

Vaginal Rejuvenation is commonly requested following childbirth or weight loss and often consists of a combination of procedures including vaginoplasty to tighten the vagina and labiaplasty to reshape and re-contour the inner and outer lips of the vagina.  These procedures work well for women who have had structural changes to the vaginal area following child birth or weight loss, resulting in pain with intercourse or bicycle riding or reduced sensation during intercourse.  Labiaplasty is often helpful alone in women who are unhappy with the appearance of their vaginal area and feel self-conscious wearing bikini bottoms.  Skin Tyte laser therapy is a non-invasive option to rejuvenate the vaginal area as well.

Skin Tyte

Skin Tyte-laser therapy utilizes infrared energy delivered via BBL or broadband light to tighten your skin around your vaginal area and vaginal lips.  The laser gently heats dermal collagen, which causes partial denaturation and contraction.  This results in skin tightening during the body’s natural healing process, as your collagen remodels and creates a new foundation.  During your treatment, the Skin Tyte laser is slowly passed over the area to be treated to allow delivery of energy with minimal discomfort.  This technology can be used on just about any area of the body where there is mild to moderate loose skin including the face, neck, breasts, arms, abdomen, thighs buttocks, and back.  It has recently become popular for Mothers who desire tightening of the vaginal area after giving birth.

The Skin Tyte Vaginal rejuvenation typically takes between 15 to 30 minutes per area, and is not painful.  For best results, a series of three to six treatments are recommended at 4 to 6 week intervals.   There is no social down time following treatment.
