Perlane
Perlane-L is a dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid, which is injected under the skin to smooth away moderate to severe wrinkles around your mouth, eyes and nose for up to 6 months. Treatment areas around the mouth include smile lines, marionette lines (under your outer lips), lip corner creases, and vertical lip lines. Other areas that are safely treated include lines or depressions around the eyes, wasting of the temporal region, poor definition of the jawline, acne scars, wrinkles that do not disappear with stretch, and deflated or wrinkled earlobes. Perlane-L can also be used to improve asymmetry on your face that is the result of trauma, surgical intervention or congenital defect. Lastly, for a liquid Rhinoplasty, Perlane-L is used to subtly augment and shape the nose, to help improve its harmony with your face.

What Are Injectable Fillers?
Injectable Fillers: Dermal or subcutaneous fillers are substances that are injected just below the surface of the skin, or into the deeper planes of your face to help diminish facial lines, wrinkles and scars, and restore volume and fullness to the face. They can be used as an alternative to surgery or may be used to complement a surgical procedure to help you look your best. Young healthy skin contains an abundance of collagen and hyaluronic acid, which help your skin maintain its youthful fullness by holding water. As you age, your skin may start to produce less of these substances, and will start to lose structure and volume, creating unwanted wrinkles and folds. Fillers add volume to your skin and to the soft tissues of your face for a more natural, youthful appearance.

This treatment is right for you if you are otherwise healthy, are a non-smoker, and feel that your cheeks have lost volume or fullness, or if you are unhappy about the deep grooves or bags below your eyes. Or if you have unwanted wrinkles around your nose and/or mouth.
Perlane-L can also be combined with surgery or other cosmetic skin procedures including Botulinum toxin therapy, skin care systems, laser treatments, chemical peels, automated microneedling and microdermabrasion to further optimize your outcome.
