The Visia Skin analysis is a computer program that instantly analyzes your skin health in mere seconds. Three different views of your face will be taken as a phtographic image, the birthdate and gender are part of the profile and the computer scans your skin for a multitude of criteria and bases these results in percentages breaking it down by, UV spots, brown spots, acne, pore size, redness, wrinkles, texture, etc.

Am I A Good Candidate For The Visia Skin Analysis?
You are a good candidate if you are interested in your skin health and want to maintain or improve it. Anyone can have the analysis done, it uses light based captures of your skin (photographs) and is not comparable to anything that would expose you to harmful radiation or x-rays. It is safe and used for informational purposes by our office and a great tool for before and after's for patients to view their personal results.

How is the procedure performed?
You may be asked to remove your makeup and several skin related questions will be asked including your age and birthday. Once these things are established your hair is tied back and your chin is placed on the machines base. You will be asked to remain still for several moments until the photos are taken. THis sequence will be repeated three times.
